Story

  • The story is divided in a prologue and 18 chapters and consists of about 2000 dialogue beats.
  • Chapters 1 to 17 have a detailed walk-trough and all the dialogues have been written, for a total of more than 1800 beats. This is estimate to be around 95% of all the dialogues.
  • Chapter 18 has already a detailed walk-trough but the dialogues will be written later on, to be consistent with the animations.
  • We are now animating the dialogues. We are at 35% for body animation. 35% for Italian facial animation and voices. 10% for English facial animation and voices. 

Terrain

100% of the game terrain is now ready:

  • All the territory is completed, with landscapes, canyons, rocks, rivers, lakes and creeks.
  • All natural ecosystems are completed with huge amount of variety of plants (for instance, there are about 100 of different trees)
  • The historically accurate farmland ecosystem is completed too.
  • The four main caves of the game are completed.
  • All ambient sounds (water, birds, bugs, fires etc.) have been placed.
  • Animals are ready, but their behavior AI is not ready yet.

Architecture

99% of the Architecture is completed:

All exterior architectures are ready.
All the interior architecture are ready.
Several frescoes are painted on the city buildings ready.
Only some statues are still under construction.

Props

We contacted two amazing artists who work for universities and museums: they allowed us to 3D scan perfect reconstruction of Etruscan items!
The game will show an incredible amount of "hero props", creating an incredible player immersion. A special thanks goes to the artists: Mastro Cencio and Pithos.
All props are present in game.
All weapons, shields and armors are ready
Helmets, are still W.I.P.

People, clothes and armors 

All the people with some line of dialogue are completed and in game. They are already able to talk and interact with the player, but the still miss part of the AI to do casual tasks.
All clothes are ready as well as their real-time physic simulation.
All hairs are present. Beards need reworking after we move from Daz to Metahuman characters.
Non-human NPC are 90% ready (only one boss is missing)
Non speaking NPC and enemies are not ready yet.

Gameplay

All the quest (about 80) and all the dialogues are now playable in game. The player can interact with the NPCs and could almost follow all the story from start to the end of chapter 17.
Enemies and all the combat mechanics are still work in progress.
